Hello...I do not know this fellow personally but he accomplished the task of the flash for the Printrbot Simple. Thank you!
My bot has been out for months and I could not figure out why.
Luckily, this fellow got directions and ideas posted on the PrintrBot.com site and there is a very in-depth article on the subject. I am glad that he chooses to post on the blogs there. That forum has been all kinds of helpful lately.
Thank you again...
You can find the Debian, Linux Distro for you embedded device on elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian and from there, if you know how to process an image file, you can then upload it directly to the BBB/BBG or use it on a SD card.
This is a Python 2.xx reference card system that is out of date now but is still used because of the love of Python 2.xx. Enjoy...
First, download the .xz file. Then, use 7-Zip to extract the .xz file to your computer (Windows Version(s)). After the file has been downloaded and unzipped, the .xz file, please plug in your SD card and write the newly formed .img file, the file that .xz file turns into after extraction, to your SD card using Win32DiskImager. Write you file to the SD card and eject your card.
Plug in the SD Card to the BBB/BBG and plug in your power source and the Ethernet cable.
Let it do its magic. The computer is for "magic." So, you will notice, especially with Debian "Jessie," that the initial LEDs will form a nonsensical array of lighting and then go from one side and back.
Once the machine turns off, you know you have succeeded. Take your SD card out when the power is off and plug in your BBB/BBG back into the main Windows computer. Once the Windows computer recognizes your new BBB image and BBB machine, you can go to your favorite Shell and start to script, install updates, install upgrades, and gain new utilities. Enjoy...
This is the Debian Manual from some fellow. Note his articulate way of describing the in and out of Debian. I just updated my version of Debian from Wheezy to Jessie. I am awaiting the new update for their newest version, Stretch. I am using the current "stable" version because I want them to update to the newest, most-stable version of Stretch possible.
This should ensure a great way to enjoy my embedded device, the Beaglebone Black.
P.S. If you are wondering how to upload a new image, just wait until the next post.
Hello...I am working now on a robot that can listen to commands via a web browser. It seems like a lot of work. It is a lot of work. I am following guidelines in a book, i.e. basic instruction. I have come across some snags but the books is good. If you get a chance to look at the book, you can find it on www.packtpub.com under www.packtpub.com/hardware-and-creative/beaglebone-robotic-projects.
The book is well thought out and does well on describing what steps to take to create a beautiful package of scripts, orders, and responses from the "BOT!"
Hopefully, you can look or view the book before purchase to see exactly what you are getting yourself into when delving into this book. There are some ideas that are a bit lousy. I typed "lousy" there because there are so many different types of robots and the software is umpteen in notion. There is just too much software out there to trust every single one. I felt like my machine, my personal computer, would catch a virus. The truth is...I did not catch a virus on my personal machine. I was very happy over this fact.
I have been to many pages online that are upfront and credible but with further inspection and hours on the site, I have been reluctant to click certain icons, pages, and links. It is a wild era we live in. This is why I want, especially with my software packages, to keep it safe and free of virus. My computer, like most people, is very important to me. Although it is not the newest and brightest, it works. And that is that...
So, I use the BBB (Beaglebone Black) and a rendition of software and hardware tools. It is fun. It helps me spend time outside of work, it provides in depth ideas relating to MCUs, and it helps me delve into realms that I have been unfamiliar with during my past schooling.
On one side, there is the programming aspect. This is great. I can learn and valuable, up-to-the-minute lesson every time I open a book to read about what transpires in the digital and analog age.
Most people say that reading and knowing waves are expired. Not so much in my life...I can always use the waves to test and see my test. It gets boring if I test in digital and just know 1 or 0. It can be on or off. Waves provide a great visual interface and can show me exactly when and where my energy is being wasted and/or in what part of my circuit gets energy wasted the most.
Speaking of oscilloscopes, there is a thing that is very expensive. Just think, if I really need to get a good oscilloscope, I would have to rely on cheap alternatives. Some things out there just are too expensive. I know...I have had to eat rice for two weeks during the month of October because of the dang MCUs and the electrical circuitry. Gosh!
Anyway, that is enough of my complaining for now. Just wait for the future. I will be dedicating more time soon to the incorporation of Sight, Hearing, and Obedience of my machinery and robot. Enjoy...
Oh and do not think of me as a novice. I am far beyond that. I just am a newbie. Ha!
You can, if you wish, enjoy www.silver2row.xyz and e-mail the person at firstname.lastname@example.org and at email@example.com.
Also, if you get bored and there are other sites in which are more important, please just e-mail seth@Lafayette-Parish.org to get feedback and suggestions added to the site. I can always use a good set of feedback ideas.

Not a lot has been heading up the pike this month. I am just checking in to state the obvious. I hope you and yourself are doing great. It is not everyday that someone runs and manages a website that is dedicated to the things that one, particular person is interested in.
I know that people are looking to cash in at every turn. This is what makes my site, sort of, different. I know I have those affiliate pages but someone has to pay the bills around here. Oh and giving people access to deals and new merchandise cannot be so abrupt or disrespectful. I figured since people love to shop and find new items of interest, people could look over the site, view what they choose, and not get suckered without being fully responsible. I say that to type this; people are always looking around the corner thinking of themselves. Well...quite the contrary is how I look at my relation to the whole.
I like being a part to something that I can dedicate myself towards but I do not want it to consume me, my life, and my entire entity of being. I know you know what I am saying. I am just reaching out to let you, the reader, know a bit about me. All in all, I hope people find this short the norm or most people and not some cry for assistance. Now with that stated, I could use some assistance but not in the manner in which you may think.
This assistance I would like is revolving around the idea of mutual feedback.
Critiques are nice and critics are needed to fine tune certain aspects to my typing, my HTML output, and my day-week-month content. I will do my best to keep updating things on the site. I just would like some type of audience to attend to. Oh and when I say "an audience to attend to," I am basically stating some type of grouping of sorts that can or is already geared towards a specific label of people. This label of people would be known to you, me, and those of us who are out there as ___________________. I really am speechless right now. I think in time, people will help mold the _______________ name and what it actually stands for. Like in the word America, it stands for a great many who fought and gave life to preserve this land, the people that live here, and the Constitution. I have a small pocket Constitution and I pick it up from time to time.
It is not so terrible to know about Historical References, especially since times of the past can be brought to light in any given time via speech, recital, and/or through a portal of media. Media in this day and age has gained some great followings. I have witnessed me, a graduate from college, know only about books, the works within them, and displaying what I have learned into forms. This witnessing of the "Book Life" has only given me a hate, a sizable donation of knowledge that goes against the mainstream, push-button technology. I am not some Socrates or some super natural, superpower. I am just a man that would be reading an article like this one but would have a critic's view because of the length. Articles are supposed to give us a short, brief explanation on certain specifics within the greater whole.
Where are these greater wholes? I go to MSN.com and other major news agencies online to review the new articles, their against-depth coverage, and I find myself wanting more. I yearn for it. I want to learn and gain more coverage of the items I find interesting.
Secondly, being labeled as an individual without education because you provide none is not a sense of authoritative urgency. Calm down and think about what you have done, what you have not done, and what you could do differently.
Please, I am begging of you. It is like this; people hate their opinion more than anything. This is why it is 100% vacation to read and indulge in another's perspective. Sometimes one individual is all we need to understand what we could not grasp. I have left heroes and Superpowers out of my life. I just like to mingle with knowledge, a friend or two here or there, and to better my knowledge on my surroundings gives me insight, nice comedowns, and a sense of responsibility.
Reading and gaining knowledge is always a best-bet. I know. I take periods off when I do not read and/or produce typographically.
Hello...I enjoy blogging and dodging. Enjoy...
